Hi,
I'm glad that alt.support.shyness has come back to on-topic posts recently
after the invasion of the "cannibal trolls".
I think that male shyness and heterosexual men being rejected by women is a
big problem of today's society.
While shy heterosexual women and gay shy men have no problems finding a
mate, shy heterosexual men have. Women usually like "bad boys", extrovert,
loud men. They're simply not into quiet and shy men. Gay men don't have that
problem, since an extrovert man will pick them up, but extrovert women who
pick up shy men do not exist.
IMO "love shyness" and "male virgins" are a *real* problem, but the media
are only making fun of the males who can't find a girlfriend.
I'm 46 and I've never been kissed. I will probably never have sex and won't
have children, although I'd like to have a wife and kids.
Involuntarily celibacy is a true problem and women are becoming pickier each
and every day.
In theory, 90% of men are not needed for reproduction and it seems like
women are choosing 10% of the men, who are getting all the sex.
I think scientists should take this problem seriously and Hollywood should
stop making fun of male virgins...
